A Life Cut Short — But a Legacy That Lives On

On November 20, 2017, Terry Glenn died tragically in a car accident in Irving, Texas. He was only 43 years old.

At the time of his death, he was raising his son, working with children, and laying the foundation for what would become 83 Kids — a charity for foster youth, built from his own life experiences. His son later confirmed that they had just come from a Dallas Cowboys game, one of Terry’s favorite things to share with him.

Those closest to him — former teammates, coaches, friends — remembered him as kind-hearted, loyal, and someone who had “an amazing soul.”

He wasn’t perfect. But he was proof that even in a world that forgets children in pain, someone can rise from it — and give back.
